Indigo Prophecy

TuffGirl rambled @ 12:32 pm

Peter, being the sweetheart that he is, went out and spent a bunch of his money to buy me a game I very much wanted for my birthday. Belatedly, but hey. ;) I told him that he shouldn’t have spent that much money on me, and he replied, You’re worth it. What a love. I’m really excited about this game. I haven’t had a chance to play it, yet, but I’m installing it when I’m finished this post.

Indigo Prophecy
In Indigo Prophecy, New York City is stunned by a series of mysterious murders, all following the same pattern: ordinary people are killing absolute strangers in public areas. Lucas Kane becomes another one of these murderers when he suddenly kills a stranger in a men’s bathroom. Hunted by police, Lucas must uncover the dark forces behind his crime before being incarcerated for life.

On the Christmas shopping front, I’m even closer to being finished. I still need:

  • Something for Dave from Peter
  • Something for Dad Smith from me
  • Stocking Stuffers

Stuff

TuffGirl rambled @ 7:30 pm

I’m feeling better today, thank God. And Peter was in a good mood this morning. =) He looked very cute, with his hair all spiked up.

I can’t wait until Sunday. I’m going to see Goblet of Fire with my other mom. ;) (Peter’s father’s mother) We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, now. =) It’ll be so nice to spend the day with her. We’re going to do some shopping, and wander around the mall, and we’ll have lunch I’m sure. It’s nice to spend time just chatting with her. This time, I won’t get sick and bail out on her. ;)

Grrr

TuffGirl rambled @ 9:03 pm

So, my headphones are quasi-broken, and I went to Argyle Mall tonight to get another pair at The Source. (I still think of the place as RadioShack) $57.49 later, the damn things don’t work. Grrrr. I’ll take them back tomorrow and go to Staples and look for a cheaper pair. These ones were all they had.

Peter didn’t really want to go, but he was happy enough to browse in EB Games while I did my shopping. There was a table set up in the mall where a fellow was selling fudge, candy apples, cotton candy and caramel corn. Peter wanted a candy apple, so dad gave him three bucks to get one. The guy wasn’t at the table, so we stood around waiting and waiting, and then mom and I left to get the car. When we got back, Peter and dad were still waiting. So I called to them, and they came out to get into the car. Just as we were pulling away, the guy came back. Seeing this, Peter had an absolute fit. He whined and whined about how it wasn’t fair, until he got himself yelled at.

So, not all that great a night, thus far. Bleh.

Hello world!

TuffGirl rambled @ 8:57 am

So, I spent some time setting up a blog here. Now, I need to actually put up a website, eh? ;)

It’s cold this morning, and I feel awful. I couldn’t sleep last night, because I didn’t feel well, so now I’m really wiped. Peter is off to school, so I’m going to finish this up, and head to bed.

Pete looked cute this morning. =)
